As Events Chair for BLK in Fashion at VCU, I had the exciting challenge of bringing our student community together through creative events. I curated a monthly events calendar and organized everything from a campus clothing drive to a stylish mixer, and even a fun Spirit Week. One of my favorite collaborations was a "How to Dress" workshop with Leadership Women of Color, where we helped students elevate their style with confidence.

This experience taught me the art of teamwork and collaboration, honed my event-planning skills, and strengthened my communication.

At Statement Agency in Richmond, I worked alongside the lead stylist to bring a holiday shoot vision to life. My role involved everything from selecting the perfect brands and models to securing an amazing shoot location. I even got to flex my coordination skills by communicating with the location owner to make it all happen!

This experience taught me how to weave a story through fashion—transforming a simple concept into a full-on lookbook. I had the chance to collaborate with 8-10 models across 4 different scenes, all while helping to elevate rising fashion brands. It was all about creativity, teamwork, and bringing a vision to life in style!

Creative Director – Ravez Social Club (Threaded Men's Fashion Week)

As Creative Director for Threaded Men’s Fashion Week, I led the creative vision for “The Eclectic Revolution” runway show. From choosing designers to selecting the venue and decor, I crafted a unique experience that told a story through fashion, music, and ambiance. I also had the chance to be a panelist for the model call!

The event got coverage from Commonwealth Times, rave reviews from local influencers, and even boosted my own social media engagement. It was an incredible experience to showcase my creativity and make waves in Richmond’s fashion scene.
