Broad day pop up runway

THE ASK

I teamed up with a local artist and designer to bring their handmade pieces to life through a styled shoot that turned into a pop-up fashion show.

THE SKILLS

Broad Day started as a shoot, but quickly turned into a whole moment. The name came from Broad Street (shoutout to Richmond), where we styled and shot eight bold looks right in the middle of the city. I handled the styling while Brendin Avents, our creative director, helped shape the bigger vision.

Somewhere along the way, we thought… why not turn this into something people feel in real time? So we did just that. We turned Monroe Park into a pop-up runway, catching people off guard in the best way. The goal? Make people stop, look, and experience creativity right there on the street.

OUTCOME *

The outcome was pure energy. Broad Day turned heads, literally. People walking through Monroe Park stopped mid-scroll, mid-conversation, just to see what was going on. The fusion of street style, live fashion, and everyday city life created a vibe that felt spontaneous, raw, and real.

We didn’t just showcase clothes, we sparked curiosity and conversations. The looks, the setting, the moment it all came together in a way that felt fresh and unexpected. It was fashion, out loud, in broad daylight. Just how we imagined it.
